13,000ft Skydive Auckland | Skydive Auckland | Shaara Deals
A 13,000ft tandem skydive with Skydive Auckland from Parakai, 45 seconds of freefall, on Shaara Deals from $345.
This is the entry point into Skydive Auckland's jump range: a 13,000ft tandem skydive from Parakai, priced and pitched at anyone wanting a genuine skydive without going for the highest altitude on offer.
The day starts with a 15-minute scenic flight up to 13,000ft, taking in views of the coasts, rainforests and beaches below on the way up. Once at altitude, you freefall for 45 seconds before your instructor opens the parachute and glides you back down to earth. On arrival, the team runs through a full briefing covering what to expect, answers any questions, and gets you geared up and paired with your instructor before the flight.
One thing worth knowing if you're planning to capture the moment: personalised camera packages are purchased separately, and cover footage of you and your instructor on the ground, the scenic ride up, your exit from the plane, the freefall itself (including any message you've written on your hands), and the parachute ride down.
Skydive Auckland can also accommodate larger bookings, with a 17-seat plane that makes group jumps straightforward for families, friends or workmates jumping together.
