Easy access combined with large fish and outstanding natural beauty make Lake Tekapo one of the most popular fresh water fishing spots in New Zealand and offer anglers the opportunity to bag the catch of a lifetime. Trout weighing more than 4.5kg are common, whilst larger Trout weighing 10-13kg do get caught occasionally. The Canal Salmon weigh in between 1-4kg. Join our 2 hour Lake Tekapo Fishing Tour and let our experienced fishing guides teach you all the skills required tosecure your catch of the day. Child ticket is for ages 8-17 years. For safety reasons, we can't take any kids below 8 years old. Please note all child tickets have to be accompanied by at least one adult ticket. The Tour Includes: * A fully guided two hour fishing experience. * All the necessary equipment. * A fishing License. * A free complimentary shuttle to and from our office and the fishing spots. I participated in the Mt. Hay Farm Experience. Not only could I interact with merino sheep and sheepdogs, but I also got to see firsthand how they use dog whistles to herd the sheep. The tour is in English, but there's plenty of visual information, so even those who aren't fluent in English can enjoy it. You can even take a dog whistle home as a souvenir, so you won't get bored on the way back! This tour is highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience something truly New Zealand!
