Queenstown Wine Trail

What an absolutely unforgettable experience! My husband and I booked the Private Wine Lovers Tour with Queenstown Wine Trail to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and it could not have been more perfect. Our wine guide, Teaukura (T), was simply amazing. From the moment we met him, he was warm, funny, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. His knowledge of the Central Otago wine region, the wineries and, of course, the wines was exceptional, but it was the way he shared it all that made the day so enjoyable. Nothing felt rushed or overly formal - it was relaxed, personal and so much fun. T also went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel incredibly special. He genuinely cared about making the day memorable for us, and he certainly succeeded! We laughed so much, learnt plenty, drank some absolutely beautiful wines and visited gorgeous wineries along the way. 🍷❤️ It ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our New Zealand trip and such a wonderful way to celebrate 20 years of marriage. We will always remember this day, and T was a huge part of what made it so special. Thank you Queenstown Wine Trail, and especially T, for giving us an anniversary experience we will treasure for many years to come. What an amazing day! Tea was the perfect driver, tourguide, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and so easy to get along with. It honestly felt more like we were spending the day with a friend or family member than being on a tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the towns we travelled through and the wineries we visited, which made the experience/day even more enjoyable. This was our first-ever wine tour, and as we’re not huge wine drinkers, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. It ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our trip! Tea is truly a valuable gem to the company, and we couldn’t recommend him or the experience highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable day! Amy + Nathan
